Healing and Justice Center

About

Healing and Justice Center (HJC) is a community-driven, worker-led nonprofit dedicated to supporting families, communities, and organizations through resources that promote personal growth, healing, and lasting social change. We offer specialized trainings and workshops, including Parenting Education, Self-Attunement Practices, and Regenerative Conflict Resolution, providing participants with tools for compassionate relationships, self-awareness, and constructive conflict management.

Beyond these programs, HJC offers Tenant Counseling, Affordable Housing Advocacy, and Homebuyer Education Courses to empower community members in securing stable, dignified housing. Our team also facilitates a range of wellness and skill-building services, including Embodied Wellness Workshops, Dance from the Heart (a trauma-informed movement program), Nonviolent Communication, and Trauma-Informed Care workshops. To further support nonprofits, we provide staff retreats, consulting, and meeting facilitation, aimed at fostering resilience and collaborative community growth.

HJC is founded on healing justice principles, addressing the root causes of harm and trauma by promoting collective healing and equity. Through our programs, we seek to dismantle systems of oppression and envision a connected, inclusive world where everyone can thrive.
